The Sounds of Summer 2002
Charmaine's Voice Recital

The diva did it again...

Ave Maria is a hard classical piece to learn but from day 1, the Ontario Conservatory of Music's vocal teacher Begonia has faith that Charmaine can do it.  She did a flawless rendition that made Begonia and the whole family very proud of Charmaine.  The number of performance from piano players was spiced up by Charmaines vocal solo.  Everybody is holding their breath when she hit the high notes but she did it perfectly.
Some kids watching the recital approached her after the recital and told her how good she was.  The family of other performers asked her how long she has been taking lessons and was surprised to hear that she just started 3 months ago.  She got hugs and congratulations from her proud Mom, Dad, Grandma, Nanay & Tatay and of course from her little sister, Caitlyn.  "The Sounds of Summer 2002" was held at "The Bridge", a church between McCowan and Markham Road.

With my best vocal teacher, Begonia.  Muchos gracias, Begonia!

Getting a hug from everyone after the recital.

Someday I can sing like my big sister. -Caitlyn

Well done, Charm!!!
